Glintt Next: a new multi-sector technology consultancy comes to market

This is the ICT division of the Portuguese group Glintt Global, which is targeting medium and large companies in the telecommunications, financial services, energy and public administration sectors. Its technological focus is based on areas such as low-code; deployment of customised applications; data, cloud and artificial intelligence; integration and architectures; and evolution of business processes.

In 2008 Glintt was born from the merger of the companies Consiste and ParaRede in Portugal. Six years later it embarked on its international expansion, which, among other countries, led it to open its first office in Spain. Today, the new Glintt Global has a turnover of 120 million euros (EBITDA of 20 million euros and a net result of 4 million euros), employs 1,200 professionals (900 in Portugal and 300 in Spain), has 10 offices and 5 centres of excellence in software R&D in the Iberian Peninsula, and is listed on the Euronext stock exchange. Glintt Life is the group’s main division, specialising in solving the technological challenges of hospitals and pharmacies, generating 75% of its revenues. Glintt Next, which already accounts for the remaining 25%, is the Portuguese multinational’s technology consultancy, which, under its new brand, is expanding with the aim of “providing innovative and high value-added solutions to our clients, accompanying them in their digital transformation”, explains Miguel Leocádio, CEO of Glintt Global and head of Glintt Next for Portugal and Spain.

This technology consultancy firm focuses on the 500 largest Spanish organisations, mainly those in the telecommunications, financial services, energy and public administration sectors. It has 5 lines of technological activity (low-code; deployment of customised applications; data, cloud and artificial intelligence; integration and architectures; and evolution of business processes), has developed 240 projects among more than 90 clients in the Peninsula, and its main technological partners include OutSystems, IBM, Microsoft and MuleSoft.

Glintt Next’s business plan for this and next year focuses on three premises: to establish itself as an integrated platform for scaling talent, with capacity extended to Latin America; to establish itself as an Iberian core of low-code rapid development technologies, backed by 15 years of experience; and to unite a catalogue of solutions around the problems of data and generative artificial intelligence, with the aim of “becoming one of the benchmark players in this segment in both Spain and Portugal”, concludes Luís Cocco, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Glintt Global.
